A common thread running through all the presentations was the <strong>triad of data strategy, AI strategy and process integration<\/strong>. Nevertheless, each insurer followed its own individual path &#8211; particularly in the areas of &#8220;make or buy&#8221; and cloud strategy.  <\/p><h6>Highlights of the conference<\/h6><p>Particularly noteworthy are the contributions of:<\/p><ul><li><strong>Dr. Michael Zimmer (W&amp;W Group)<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Felix Wenzel (ERGO Group AG)<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Benjamin Gei\u00dfler (Gothaer)<\/strong><\/li><\/ul><p>Marek Rydzewski, CDO of BARMER, convinced the audience with clear, sometimes controversial statements about how he is <strong>transforming<\/strong> a large statutory health insurer <strong>culturally<\/strong>.<\/p><p>On the second day, Thomas K\u00f6rzd\u00f6rfer impressed the audience with his presentation on how he has developed HUK-COBURG into a consistently <strong>data-driven company<\/strong> over the years. Dr. Klaus Driever from Allianz highlighted the opportunities of <strong>hyper-personalization in marketing and sales<\/strong>, particularly with regard to addressing the next generation. <\/p><h6>Challenges for medium-sized insurers<\/h6><p>For medium-sized insurers, the challenge remains to find the right path between quick successes and a sustainable approach. This is particularly important: <\/p><ul><li><strong>Regulatory risks<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Dependencies<\/strong> and<\/li><li><strong>Cost risks<\/strong> of a cloud-only AI strategy.<\/li><\/ul><h6>Thanks to the organizers<\/h6><p>Many thanks to the organizers of <a href=\"https:\/\/bf21.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-auto-event-observed=\"true\">BF21<\/a>, especially Anna Bergmann and her team, for the excellent organization.
