AI in broker sales: opportunities and limits of data-driven decisions

The interview in the trade magazine AssCompact – the leading trade magazine for insurance brokers and financial investment brokers – brings together two personalities who know the insurance industry from very different but ideally complementary perspectives: Dr. Thomas Wolf and Prof. Dr. Heiko Beier.

Dr. Thomas Wolf has more than 30 years of management and sales experience in the insurance industry. As the long-standing Chief Sales Officer of DEURAG Deutsche Rechtsschutz-Versicherung AG, he was responsible for sales for over 17 years and made a significant contribution to the company’s sustainable growth strategy. Today, as Managing Director at twinBAIT, he is involved in the digital transformation of the insurance industry and combines traditional sales logic with new, technology-driven approaches.

Prof. Dr. Heiko Beier complements this practical perspective with sound technological and strategic depth. The physicist, AI expert and co-founder and CEO of moresophy has more than 25 years of experience in the use of artificial intelligence and data-driven decision-making logic – also and especially in the insurance industry. As a professor of digital media communication and AI, he focuses on the question of how data, explainable AI and digital sovereignty are becoming a decisive competitive factor for insurance companies.

In the interview, Wolf and Beier jointly shed light on the key challenges and future issues facing the industry: from the transformation of traditional sales models and the strategic role of technology and AI to the question of how insurers can actively shape change without losing their focus on the customer. The interview combines entrepreneurial experience with technological foresight – pointed, practical and with clear theses on the future of the insurance industry.

Anyone who wants to understand how sales, strategy and artificial intelligence interact in the insurance industry and where the industry is heading will find a well-founded classification in the full interview in the trade magazine AssCompact.
